Can a garden complement dynamic architecture and still create a relaxed atmosphere?

Collaborating with architects Arco2 on this small site the brief was to create a garden that could facilitate relaxed seaside living for a family, with friends staying in an adjacent annexe.  The garden needed to work as both a single and divided space with dramatic changes in levels and demanding coastal growing conditions.  The project will be completed in late 2023.
