Is it possible to hide a large family home within the landscape?

A former RNLI boathouse which had been converted in to a home was being restored to its former, simpler use as a boathouse.  We were asked to create a useable space to the boathouse that connected to a much bigger homeland garden on the opposite side of the road.  The new build would be sunken in to the ground and our task was to soften as much of the impact as possible with generous planting and inventive landscaping wrapping around the house.  The project is under construction and will be completed in 2024.
